Queue of Vienna composers, which is so preferred by Lithuanian Chmaber Orchestra will be continued with Joseph Haydn Symphony no 59. It is not clear why and when the composition received it is name “Feuersinfonie” or “Fire” (back to Haydn’s times composition received names not from the authors but their friends, fellows or audience). Energetic, sparkling beginning of the symphony is composed in presto tempo, not usual for the beginnings of the symphonies of classical period. It reminds style of Antonio Vivaldi. LCO is conducted by laureate of Lithuanian National Arts prize and winner of Baltic Assembly prize, principal conductor and artistic director of Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra Modestas Pitrėnas.
