Composed in 1993, composition „Violoncelles, vibrez!“ still remains one of the most popular works of Giovanni Sollima and one of the first recorded and released in CD. It was record label „Agora“ of the other famous cello player Mario Brunello. In Season Opening concert solo part is played by Latvian cellist Ērik Kiršfeld and Lithuanian Gleb Pyšniak. Eriks Kirsfelds - the principal cello of the Liepaja Symphony Amber Sound Orchestra, for many years was a soloist and the principal cellist of the Baltic chamber orchestra Kremerata Baltica. After graduation in Vienna Gleb Pyšniak established himself as soloist, festival leader, educator in Lithuania, he became new member of the Čiurlionis Quartet recently. G. Pyšniak made his solo debute in age of fourteen, since then he held concerts in such venues as „Concertgebouw“ in Amsterdam, „Musikverein“ and Hofbourg Chapel in Vienna, „Casa da Musica“ in Porto, „Fazioli“, „Teatro di Verdi“ in Pisa to name a few.
