Lauru\u0161as drew inspiration for the composition for flute and strings from\u00a0the namesake triptych of paintings by Mikalojus Konstantinas \u010ciurlionis. The triptych once\u00a0struck the composer with its light, transformations characteristic of nature in spring, symbolic\u00a0images of clouds and a tower. The flute has a special role here \u2013 the musical material of the\u00a0solo part seems to continue with the theme of \u201cbirds\u201d present in Lauru\u0161as\u2019 other works. The\u00a0composer wrote the opus in 2011 and dedicated to his son.\u00a0Conducted by maestro Robertas \u0160ervenikas, the Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra\u00a0shares the stage with flutist Vytautas Sriubikis who projects the composer\u2019s unbridled flight\u00a0of imagination and passion."}
