The work brings together contrasting tuning systems, microtonal harmony and echoes of Middle Eastern maqam traditions. Specially retuned piano and harp open up a distinctive harmonic space in which the solo trio and orchestra continually exchange roles. The orchestra acts as an acoustic synthesiser, weaving together layered sound masses, subtle beating patterns and resonances. Recorded live on 16 October 2026 at the Main Hall of the Lithuanian National Philharmonic, Vilnius, Lithuania, at the opening concert of the 36th GAIDA International Contemporary Music Festival.
